The NTA (National Testing Agency) conducts CUET and releases the scores. The cutoffs are released separately by each participating university — for Delhi University, through the CSAS portal across allotment rounds. Clearing CUET is not the same as getting admission.

No. A CUET score alone does not secure admission. You must also register for the university's counselling process (e.g. CSAS for DU), fill your college–course preferences, receive an allotment, and accept and pay for the seat within the deadline.

CUET cutoffs are not fixed in advance. They emerge from that year's demand, the number of seats, and the distribution of applicant scores. Because all three vary annually, the closing score for the same college–course can rise or fall each cycle.

Usually yes. As higher-scoring applicants accept seats in early rounds, later rounds and spot rounds often close at lower scores. Highly popular college–course combinations can stay competitive, but many seats become reachable at lower scores later.

Yes. Cutoffs are set separately for each category (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD). Reserved-category cutoffs are usually lower than General for the same college–course, though the exact gap varies by college, course and round.

CUET percentile reflects your rank relative to all candidates in your session, after normalisation across multiple shifts. It is a relative measure, not your raw mark — the same raw score can map to different percentiles in different sessions. Verify exact figures on your official scorecard.
